Introduction
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Clause 24.5 of Section I of the Client Agreement of Core Pacific-Yamaichi International (H.K.) Limited and Core Pacific-Yamaichi Futures (H.K.) Limited (“the Agreement”), the Agreement is amended as set out in clause 2 of this Notice (“the Amendments”) effective from November 10, 2020.
Words and expressions defined in the Agreement shall have the same meaning or interpretation, as the case may be, when used in this Notice, unless otherwise defined herein. -
Amendments
The Amendments are as follows:
(a) Existing clause 2.2 of Section I is amended as follows (underline provided for comparison only):

2.2 Where the Client is an individual, the Client agrees to be bound by the Section headed Personal Data Privacy Information and to the collection and use of his/her personal data in the manner specified in the Section headed Personal Data Privacy Information.
(b) New paragraph is inserted between existing second and third paragraphs under heading of “1.2 Collection of Personal Data” of Section IX as follows (underline provided for comparison only):

We may collect your personal data from third parties such as providers of payment or custodian services for the purpose of handling deposit or withdrawal of your assets through us or for organizing activities and events enrolled by you through third parties.
(c) New clause 2.7 is inserted under Section II as follows (underline provided for comparison only):

2.7 The Client is aware that the Broker may, with respect to all its clients, elect to set-off, on a client-by-client basis, any amount receivable from, and amount payable to, a client where such amounts arise from the purchase and sale of securities by the client on a cash-against-delivery basis. In relation thereto, the Client hereby authorizes the Broker to set-off such amounts against each other and dispose of securities held for the Client for the purpose of settling any of the amounts payable by the Client to the Broker.
The above is intended to highlight the amendments to the Agreement. Client is advised to read the full set of updated Agreement for comprehensive understanding.

Conclusion
Pursuant to Clause 24.5 of Section I of the Agreement, any member of CPY Group with whom the Client holds an Account may amend the Agreement by giving the Client not less than 21 days prior notice of the change in writing. The Amendments shall be binding on you if you continue to maintain the Account on or after the effective date of amendment.
Subject to the Amendments set out in this Notice, the terms of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
•This Notice is prepared in both Chinese and English versions. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the English version prevails.
