What is Two Factor Authentication Service？
Two Factor Authentication is an authentication method, it uses two different components, includes something you known (e.g Username and password) and something you have (e.g Mobile), to identify user’s identity.

Why we need Two Factor Authentication Service？
With the rapid development of technology, cybercrime has increased accordingly, the outlaw can steal username and password through phishing emails or hacker program, used to trade illegally. Therefore, there is a need to use additional security tools to enhance security of online transaction, to avoid your losses.

How Two Factor Authentication protect users？
Before implementation of Two Factor Authentication, if your username and password are stolen, outlaw can login directly and trade illegally. After implementation of Two Factor Authentication, the 2nd layer authentication can provide an additional protection, even username and password are stolen, outlaw cannot use your device to get one time password to login.
Also one time password can be used once only, and valid in a short period of time, it reduces the change to be used by outlaws repeatedly, and improve your protection.

How Two Factor Authentication operates？
During login to online trading platform, client is requested to input“login name” and “password” as usual. Next, client will be asked to input the One Time Password that generated by Google Authenticator installed in mobile phone/device according to CPY’s setup. After the authentication is done, client will be directed to the online trading services.
The whole process need 2 different set of passwords, including username and password (something you know) and One Time Password (something you have). Protection to clients online transaction can be enhanced via Two Factor Authentication process.

How to setupTwo Factor Authentication？
Client login online trading platform with “login name” and “password” as usual. And then client will be directed to the setup page of Two Factor Authentication. Please follow the instructionto complete the Two Factor Authentication setup procedure. 
The steps of Two Factor Authentication service
1. Input username and password 
2. After success, it turns into input One Time Password window.
Client input One Time password generated by Google Authenticator for 2nd layer authentication.
(Client must install Google Authenticator (Android / iOS), and finished One Time Password setup to use Two Factor Authentication.)
Open Google Authenticator, choose registered Account, input 6 digit generated by Google Authenticator into window for 2nd authentication. 
3. After Two Factor Authentication, client can login trading platform and start trading.

How to install Google Authenticator？

Which system version supports Google Authenticator？
Google Authenticator can run on Android device with version 2.1 or later.
Google Authenticator can run on iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad with latest operating system. -
Can I use Google Authenticator in more than 1 device？
No. If you need to use Google Authenticator in another device, please reset One Time password setup, and please clear the old setting of Google Authenticator to avoid confusion. -
How to reset registered account in Google Authenticator？
Clients can login to online trading platform and go to“a/c Management” > “Two-Factor Authentication” to reset the setup. -
If I lost my device (One Time Password has been setup via Google Authenticator), will my account be stolen？
Even the One Time Password is generated by your Two Factor Authentication registered is generated device, client has to login trading platform with username and password as usual. Your account still has 1st layer protection.
Therefore, we suggest client not to reveal or write down your online trading password to anyone. And please change your password from time to time.

Is there any time limit for One Time Password generated by Google Authenticator？
Yes. Time limit of every generated One Time Password is 2 minutes. The One Time Password will be expired after 2 minutes and becomes invalid.
The time of your mobile phone/device may be different with that of our trading platform, and result to invalid "One Time Password (OTP)". If the OTP inputted is invalid, please wait for the next one and try again. Or please set the "Date and Time" of your mobile phone/device to "Set Automatically" to synchronize with our system time. -
Does it need to connect internet while using Google Authenticator？
No, , Google Authenticator still can generate One Time Password for login even without internet connection. However, internet connection is required for the first time setup of One Time Password in Google Authenticator. -
If I lost my device or cannot open Google Authenticator, how can I login trading platform？

Can I use Google Authenticator in web browser？
Yes, but Chrome only. You can search "Google Authenticator" in Chrome Web Store. After installation, you can use Google Authenticator in Chrome in the same way as mobile device. -
Can other people use Google Authenticator to login my trading platform？
No. When client setup One Time Password, a unique secret key is authenticated with installed Google Authenticator of your mobile phone/device. When client login trading platform, the Two Factor Authentication can only be done with One Time Password generated by authenticated Google Authenticator. -
Can I use Google Authenticator oversea or in mainland China？
Yes. Once you have installed Google Authenticator, you can login with Two Factor Authentication anywhere. -
Can I cancel Two Factor Authentication function？
No. To protect clients' interest, all clients must use Two Factor Authentication during login.
