Remarks
  1. To trade US stock, clients should have securities account in Core Pacific- Yamaichi International and signed W-8BEN form. We do not accept US citizens/ permanent residents to open account or trade.
  2. W8BEN form is subject to renewal every 3 years. If the Form is not renewed after expiry, trading of US stock will be suspended.
  3. All stocks listed on NASDAQ, NYSE and NYSEMKT, and certain stocks from the OTC market (please see Risk disclosure paragraph 2 below) are available for US stock online trading.
  4. Only limit orders are accepted.
  5. Clients could give new orders and cancel orders; order update is not available.
  6. Orders are valid on the same day only. All outstanding orders will be cancelled after market close.
  7. There is no restriction on lot size for the US stocks; generally, minimum trading unit of US Stock is 1 share.
  8. Settlement date will be on the two business day after the transaction day, i.e. US time T+2 (HK Time T+3).
    *Effective from 5th September 2017
  9. US stock has ADR custodian fee and dividend tax, please refer to overseas stock market charges for details.
  10. Short-selling is not available.
  11. Delivery Versus Payment is not available for US stock trading.
  12. If trading is not pass through the same channel or same side, commission will be calculated separately. Order executed or partially filled trade, commission will also be calculated separately. Order combination is not applicable.
  13. If clients do not have sufficient USD balance, using other currency equivalent purchasing power is allowed to trade US stock. However, clients still have to exchange/deposit USD for settlement before the settlement date, otherwise P+6% (Cash Account) / P+3% (Margin Account) will be charged overdue interest.
  14. Please be noted that, CPY will only accept withdrawal request from client on the third business day of the transaction day for US stock selling transaction (i.e. T+3).

  15. Counter Broker will provide the US stock update information to us. If there is any change in share capital (e.g. share convert), online trading service for the effected stock will be temporary suspend upon notification by our counter Broker. Market Introduction

Taiwan Stock Exchange is the only stock exchange in Taiwan, it was established in 1962. The weighted average index is compiled by the Taiwan Stock Exchange, it tracks the performance of the market value of the market-weighted index on Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Remarks
  1. To trade Taiwan stock, clients should have securities account in Core Pacific- Yamaichi International, signed “Client’s Declaration – Application for Oversea Stock Trading Access Right (Individual/Corporate Account)” and apply Single Day Trading Limit (Please enquiry your AE).
  2. Each board lot is 1,000 shares, below 1,000 shares regards as odd lot. Odd lot shares allow sell only. Presently, CPYI does not handle odd lots on-line. However, if you wish to sell odd lots, please contact your AE or Customer Service Department.
  3. Trade are settled in Taiwan Dollar (NTD).
  4. Trading through our Mobile Apps and PC version are not supported.
  5. Only limit orders are accepted.
  6. Orders are valid on the same day only. All outstanding orders will be cancelled after market close.
  7. Clients could place new orders and cancel orders; order update is not available.
  8. Taiwan Stock settlement date will be on the second business day after the transaction day, i.e. T+2.

  11. Daily price fluctuations in Taiwan Stocks are limited to within 10% of the auction reference price at market opening for the given day. For details, please refer the Rules of the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
  12. Margin financing is not available for online trading.
  13. No physical deposit or withdrawal for Taiwan Stock.
  14. Do not accept NTD deposit. Using other currency equivalent purchasing power is allowed to trade Taiwan stock. However, clients must exchange NTD for settlement on the trading day, otherwise we might use our in-house exchange rate to convert the amount for settlement arrangement. If the account do not have sufficient NTD for settlement, P+6% (Cash Account) / P+3% (Margin Account) will be charged for overdue interest.
  15. If the client does not give any currency exchange instructions on the trading day before 3:00p.m., The Company might convert the amount into NTD on the trading day according to our in-house exchange rate on the same day.
  16. If holding Taiwan stock is classified as Disposition Securities, such securities will be matched every 5 minutes manually (or longer time). Therefore clients should read Exchange circular, or access below link for details. http://www.twse.com.tw/en/page/announcement/punish.html
