Reward Scheme terms and condition :

Promotion period starts from 14th March 2018 to 13th April 2018 (both date inclusive) (“Promotion period”)
Reward Scheme only applies to online securities account only. (Not including Mobile Apps Trading (Apps))
During the promotion period, starting from 9 a.m. on each HK trading day, the first 3 clients (the “Winner”) who login online securities trading platform with two-factor authentication successfully will be able to obtain up to HK100 commission rebate (subject to the server time of CPYI).
One commission rebate can be received only per client basis during promotion period.
Reward Scheme only applies to HK stock online trading.
The commission rebate is calculated on the lowest transaction amount of the current month and limited to HK$100. Any rebate will be expired and become invalid if not use in the current month.
The List of winners will be published to CPYI’s website on next business day, and the winners will be notified by the email or phone via our Customer Service team.
Commission will be rebated to client’s account in May 2018.
Reward Scheme is not applicable to the staffs and Account Executives of the Core Pacific Yamaichi Group.
The Commission rebate is not transferable to other person and accounts.
CPYI reserves the right to amend the relevant terms and conditions of the Scheme from time to time without prior notice.
In case of any disputes in relation to the Scheme, the decision of the CPYI shall be final.

「What is Two Factor Authentication Service ?

Two Factor Authentication is an authentication method, it uses two different components, includes your know personal information (e.g Username and password) and your access tools (e.g Mobile), to identify user’s identity.

Why we need Two Factor Authentication Service ?

With the rapid development of technology, cybercrime has increased accordingly, the outlaw can steal username and password through phishing emails or hacker program, and use it to trade illegally. Therefore, there is a need to implement additional security tools to enhance security of online transaction, to avoid your losses.

How Two Factor Authentication protect users ?

Before implementation of Two Factor Authentication, if your username and password are stolen, outlaw can login directly and trade illegally. After implementation of Two Factor Authentication, the 2nd layer authentication can provide an additional protection, even username and password are stolen, outlaw cannot use your device to get “One Time Password (OTP)” to login.
Also “One Time Password (OTP)” can be used once only, and valid in a short period of time, it reduces the chance to be used by outlaws repeatedly, and strengthen your protection.

The procedure to activate online trading services 2FA setup :

Please search and install the Apps "Google Authenticator" on your mobile phone/device.
Please enter the first 4 digits / alphabet letters (excluding symbol) of your identity document.
Please open the installed "Google Authenticator" on your mobile phone/device. Please use the "Scan a barcode" function in Google Authenticator to scan the provided QR code.
Please enter the “One Time Password (OTP)” generated by Google Authenticator to complete the setup.
Please keep the setting of subject account in Google Authenticator properly. Effective immediately, please enter your “login name” , “password” and “One Time Password (OTP)” generated by Google Authenticator for login validation.

The procedure to login online trading services with 2FA :

Normally, when client login to online trading platform, client is requested to input “login name” and “password” as usual.
Client will soon be asked to input the “One Time Password (OTP)” that generated by Google Authenticator installed in mobile phone/device according to complete the 2FA login validation.
After the authentication process is completed, client will be directed to the online trading services.
The whole process requires 2 different set of passwords, including username and password (your personal information) and “One Time Password (OTP)” (your access tools). Protection to clients online security trading can be strengthen via the 2FA process.
