Chairman - Mr. C.J. Sheen Mr Sheen is something of a legend in business circles across the Greater China region. Born in Taiwan, a seaman in his youth, Mr. Sheen built his business from textile trading and stock market investments. Core Pacific Group is a business empire spanning financial institution, petrochemical, property, infrastructure, construction and high technology. In 1998, he successfully took over Yamaichi Securities Hong Kong operations, and formed Core Pacific - Yamaichi as a beachhead to facilitate capital flow in the region.

CEO–Mr. Rudy Chuang Mr. Chuang has been in the financial and securities business for over 20 years and is regarded as one of the most seasoned investment bankers in Taiwan. He assisted hundreds of Taiwan enterprises going public successfully and earned numerous accolades for the financial institutions he worked for.

Mr. Chunag had been the Senior Executive Vice President of Core Pacific Securities in Taiwan and he led it to become the top three underwriting houses in Taiwan, with 20% market share. Later, he became the General Manager of International Securities Firm (currently known as Mega Securities) for 2 years and then he joined Sinopac Securities as Senior Executive Vice President. His leadership took Sinopac Securities to be ranked first in Taiwan’s underwriting business and the Company was named as “The Best Underwriting House” in Taiwan by magazines such as Asia Money. Prior working in the financial industry, Mr. Chuang held key management positions in the world-renowned company, G.E., Taiwan Office, for nearly 10 years.

Mr. Chuang obtained his first Master Degree of Mechanical Engineering in National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and his thesis was awarded “The Best Thesis of Engineering of the Year” by Chinese Institute of Engineers. Later, he obtained the second Master Degree of Business Administration in National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

Mr. Chuang has joined Core Pacific – Yamaichi since 2009 and was appointed as CEO in March 2010. His splendid experience and leadership will take CPY to the next higher level.
